Safety services in line with SOLAS, Marine and Coastguard Agency and classification society (DNV, LR and ABS etc) requirements
Fire extinguisher supply complying with BS EN 3 (Marine Equipment Directive) group of standards and maintenance in line with BS5306-3:2017 and our classification society service supplier and flag requirements.
Fire risk assessment conducted in line with the requirements of The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006.
We can service or arrange to service lifejackets, manoverboard and FRC crafts, inflatable boats, liferafts, personal locator beacons, manoverboard beacons, emergency positioning indictor radio beacons.
All makes of pyrotechnics disposed on arrangement.
Breathing apparatus, fire alarm servicing, immersion suits, lay-flat hose, gas detection equipment (hard-wired and portable), fire hydrants and vessel fire ring main systems.
We are able to provide consultation services on all aspects of general marine and marine safety, and health and safety regulations.

Servicing of fire and safety equipment and systems in the service workshop, within the marine sector and onshore to standards and/or accreditations held by AFSS and to the satisfaction of customers.
• Day-to-day management of workshop
• Supervision of technicians and projects.
• Inspection, testing and recertification of fire, safety and lifesaving equipment.
• Safe dismantling of equipment for disposal as per company risk assessments
• Cylinder inspection activities in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020
• Pipework installation on suppression systems
• Pressure testing of pipework
• Safe dismantling of equipment for disposal as per company risk assessments
• Manage current structure of personnel
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Aid in the review of enquiries and the preparation of quotations
• Review and authorise staff timesheets
• Contribute to identifying training needs
• Work with other managers to implement the Company’s policies and goals
• Review and identify improvement for interfaces across internal and external customers
• Implement proactive client communication
• Any other related duties that may be required
